Open Eyes, Open Hands and an Open Heart. |
Whenever I saw Fran, I always thought of my first Heart conference
experience. Fran always bought me back to my own beginners mind.
For Fran
May we find gratitude,
for where life has brought us.
May we find compassion,
for how we got here.
May we experience ourselves,
And all that is around us, with
Open Eyes, Open Hands and an Open Heart.
May we hold that which we have
firmly enough that we may know it.
But not so firmly that we cannot let it go.
That we may know that life is transitory and fleeting.
And the experience of it is real.
And that we cherish these experiences for what they are.
